Burnt and almost bitten!

I accidentally burnt my palm while removing the baking tray (I was baking honey baked wings for dinner) from the oven. AND it really hurts. Guess I should have just invested in two mittens. I was removing the tray with a cloth on my left hand while wearing a mitten on my right. Carelessly, I lifted my left hand too high and it came into contact with the metal grills of the oven. =(

It doesn't help that little Sam is on a biting streak again and has attacked my palm (almost exact same place as the burnt) twice.
