My crumpler collection...

Hee, here's a preview to my crumpler addiction...

1) Laptop baggie - I bought this for Zim when he first started work. Well, let's say that I've a 'fetish' for guys in working clothes carrying crumpler bags. Sadly, he doesn't quite seem to like it. Hm... oh well, now that I'm using a laptop, I shall ka-po it! Wahahah.

2) PA Crumpler - Hee, I bought this using my last paycheck from PA, thus I shall name it PA crumpler! Ironically, I only started using it one year after I bought it! =P (Today is Day 1)

3) Small Crumpler - This is my go out bag... Just nice for my phone, wallet, tissue and ipod! Perfect.

4) My first Crumpler - This was my 21st birthday present from 01S21 gang! Love love love it! Been using it for the past 4 years. Although its getting a little dirty, it's still on the top of my list for bag choices...

5) Laptop Sleeve for my Apple! - Been eyeing on this since I first set eyes on it in Geneva! However, the sizes available there didn't fit my apple. Oh well, after 2 years of waiting, I finally got one!

6) Customized Crumpler - Of course, how can I forget my ping pong crumpler!

7)Ipod and Iphone pouches - Little Crumpler accessories for my Apple collection too!

LOL... The only thing I'm missing now, is a Crumpler bag for my PSP! Wonder if they actually do sell it... Hm...

Anyway, I'm Loving my crumpler collection!

One year and counting..

Well, May 12 marks my first year anniversary in this organisation.

I'm glad that I managed to pick myself up (with the help of many great friends/colleagues) during the low times and fought on. Despite all the frustrations and injustice, I actually made it. And I am really proud of myself.

It's funny, while I'm surprised that I even got confirmed, I'm convinced that this is probably my career end point in this organisation. (well, it's theoretically called CEP in govt sector.) LOL...

Anyway, I do have a rough idea of what I want to do next. I'm just not sure if the time is ripe, but we shall see.

For now, I'll take things at a step and indulge in my new confirmation.

Congratulations KEY!

Random thoughts on Zim & KeY's wedding..

It's interesting how most couples would create blogs just to pen down their wedding preparations and flaunt photos of what was captured. Ever wondered why Zim and I didn't do that? The answer is pretty simple - we are just plain lazy. It's a little sad as recalling back, I can't quite remember what we did when organising the wedding. I'm getting so accustomed to married life that it actually felt like the wedding was a loooong time ago. (Oops) Now that I've several friends getting married, it's actually quite difficult to answer their wedding questions as firstly, Zim and I didn't do it the conventional way. And secondly, I simply can't quite remember..

I'm quite amazed by how bo chap we both were. Impressed, but yet there were some regrets. Thanks to the last minute planning (I only confirmed my wedding guest lists two weeks prior to the wedding), I left out a couple of friends and the guilt of missing them out of the invite list still haunts me sometimes. (I promised I'll invite u if it happens again? LOL Choy~) Plus, right after the wedding night, I was quite overwhelmed and disturbed by the fact that we neglected quite a handful of guests (I'm really sorry if you are one of them..) and were unable to spend as much time with some of our best friends as we would like too.. Oh, and did I mention the part that I cursed when the ring didn't really fit. (OMFG)...(FYI, I went back to Love&co to get it enlarged eventually. -_-")

The most shitty part was when we received negative feedback from family and relatives about certain aspect of the wedding. It was so hard to listen since there isn't much we could do to rectify the situation. Of course, positive feedback did make our day!

The funniest part of all, is our wedding album. Till now, we have yet to collect our wedding album and this is definitely NO fault of our photographer. In fact, I really thank and applaud him for his patience. Initially, right after the wedding, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the photographs and was a bit disappointed that I had to wait for 1 month. So the time came and the photos were finally out. By that time, I couldn't be bothered about it and totally sat on it for the next two months. We were procrastinating so much that our photographer had to send us 'reminder' emails. Guess he wanted to get us off his "To-Do List". Well, at least the album is finally in printing.

Now that it's all over, it is fun to relive the thoughts of it now and then.. but to do it again, NO WAY. LOL... well, good luck to the soon-to-be-married couples! Pleased to say I'm done with mine! *Grinz*

Yummy Home Cooked Food...

Na~this is a proof that we do use our kitchen hor~Our very own home cooked meal!
Yummy baked pasta, Ikea meatballs (we bought it frozen and used our brilliant oven to cook them), minestone soup from Cambell and of course, what is a meal without a bottle of wine! Hee, nice cosy dinner with Zim and my two little pigs...

However, Ah Ping is obviously more interested in the wine..
Down to earth Ah Pong seemed to have a preference for the meatballs instead. (Erm, maybe I should tell him that there's pork in that..)

I really wished that we have 4 days week, instead of 5.. at least that would give me more time to nua at home and enjoy the wonders of the kitchen and godsend oven.. Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait a couple more months before our next home cooked meal...

My New Crumpler!

I have a crumpler addiction... so when I popped by the Crumpler shop in NYC, I couldn't resist the temptation of adding another bag to my Crumpler collection! (4 items and counting...) So I "emotionally blackmailed" Zim to pay for my new bag (well, after all, he did leave me in NYC for two days..). The interesting part was, I got to customize my very own crumpler bag! Finally, after 2 looong weeks of anticipation (It takes 1 week for them to stitch the design and 1 week to mail it over), it has arrived!!!!!!

Love it! Love it! Love it! My very own Ping & Pong Crumpler bag!!!! The only pity is that the colour isn't as nice real life as it appears in the picture, but nonetheless, I'm completely mad about it!!!

Happy~

H1N1..

Ping seemed a bit traumatized after reading this.

Poor baby.. Hope he gets over it...

Anyway, this whole thing feels like SARS all over again! I'm not exactly sure if the govt is over-reacting (esp since there is NOT a single infected case in S'pore), but I guess prevention is always better than cure. At least it isn't affecting me much. Thank god the recent US trip ended right before the saga begun, else I'm pretty sure I won't be able to set foot in US at all or we might just be quarantine for 7 more days. Phew~

On a brighter note, Zim and I don't seemed to be down with flu. =D
